Brentwood, one of the colors introduced last fall

Brentwood, one of the colors introduced last fall

Earlier this year at The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, Cambria was buzzing with excitement about new colors coming soon to local kitchen and bath dealers, like us. We can’t wait to show off these new colors, which are revolutionary in the quartz world.

Cambria has kept us on our toes lately. They just released more than 20 new colors last fall, and with the addition of the 12 new colors, we’ll offer almost 100 colors of Cambria quartz.

Influenced by the natural movement of water over stone, Cambria presents the Waterstone Collection. These trendsetting looks range from neutral to vibrant tones that are reminiscent of granite and marble, yet offer the benefits of Cambria, such as greater strength than granite or marble and its maintenance-free, non-porous surface. Delicatus granite grillOne of the latest trends to sweep the granite market is the use of Delicatus granite in homes and kitchens. What makes Delicatus such a great material to incorporate in kitchens and outdoor cooking areas is the fact that it comes in white but is accented by a large variety of shades and colors ranging from gold, peach and caramel to black tones.

Delicatus granite is commonly used in kitchens as countertops and backsplashes. With summer beginning to heat up, designers have been seen using Delicatus granite outside for outdoor cooking and grilling areas. And with Father’s Day coming up soon, this might be the perfect present to get the family together outside and get Dad grilling out on summer nights!

In addition to the wide selection of colors that Delicatus granite shows, every slab is individually unique and colors tend to vary across multiple slabs of the same stone. Due to this incredible natural variety in its selection, it is especially important that homeowners, remodelers and builders themselves pick out the exact slabs of granite that will be used in the project! As a testament to French limestone’s durability, consider this: landmarks built as early as the tenth century that incorporated the stone, such as Paris’ Notre Dame, are still standing. French limestone has proven itself long lasting and durable through the course of many centuries.
