Saturday evening everyone was dressed to the nines for the 2010 OBIE Awards, which honors the best of Atlanta real estate and remodeling. One of the evening’s most prestigious awards, the Home Builders Association’s Associate of the Year went to co-owner of Construction Resources, Mitch Hires.
The award recognizes an associate member for accomplishments in the areas of service to the industry and association, professional excellence and community involvement, and furthering the mission and goals of the association. Mitch has been an active member of the HBA for nearly 10 years. Green Athens Hotel Uses Construction Resources Countertops

Last year, Hotel Indigo opened its doors in bustling downtown Athens to much anticipation. Not only is the stylish boutique hotel a unique place to stay, it is an eco-friendly establishment as well. Hotel Indigo achieved LEED Gold certification and recently won the 2010 Development of Excellence in Sustainability Award from the Urban Land Institute.
While many components went into Hotel Indigo’s green construction, one factor was the countertops.
