Recently, Construction Resources family member Builders Floor Covering and Tile completed a very special installation for a client with special needs. We installed new Mohawk laminate flooring for a client with a noise-sensitive child, and were able to complete our work with a minimum of noise that was no disturbance to the family. While this was a challenge, we were exceptionally happy to be able to make the installation as comfortable as possible for this family, and at no extra charge for the delicate, quiet work with custom flooring in Atlanta.

Construction Resources Featured at Luxury Living Show Throughout May

Construction Resources, Inc. is excited to announce that its products are being featured at the annual Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Luxury Living Show at Phipps Plaza’s Monarch Court in Buckhead. Running through May, the exhibition highlights the best and latest in home and design products, outdoor living and landscaping, luxury travel destinations and much more.
Construction Resources is displaying Cambria and Mohawk products in a live kitchen with demonstrations hosted by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine. Kyle Shankman, resident chef of Sur La Table, and Kathleen Miliotis, a chef at Davio’s, will do the cooking.
“As Atlanta’s only Luxury Living Show, we are thrilled to be a part of it again,” stated Mitch Hires, president of Construction Resources. “Customers will thoroughly enjoy the cooking demonstrations at our live kitchen and will be able to purchase many of our new and unique home improvement products.”
For the live kitchen, Atlanta Kitchen has provided Wellington corbels, hood over cook top and countertops from Cambria’s Waterstone Collection, a combination of black and brown hues that make a bold statement. Additionally, a Wellington morning bar shows off its three cm mitered edge.
The kitchen flooring is from Builders Floor Covering and Tile. It is Mohawk Adventura Cognac and shows off how durable, creative and beautiful hardwood flooring can be.

Construction Resources Announces Grand Opening of Decatur Design Center

Construction Resources, Inc. is proud to announce that the final phase of its home design center at 224 Rio Circle in Decatur, Ga. is officially complete and open to the public. The fully remodeled center includes 10,000 square feet of finished vignettes and a 20,000 square feet indoor slab gallery with outdoor kitchen and fire pit.
“The home design center is a one-stop-shop for any home improvement product including a variety of Cambria and natural stone countertops, carpet, hardwood, tile, shower doors, mirrors, specialties and more,” explained Mitch Hires, president of Construction Resources. “Stop by and meet our staff of design experts to receive tips on your current projects.”

Construction Resources Brings Luxury Materials to New Turner Field Luxury Suite

Following our upgrade install at the Georgia’s Own Credit Union last year, Atlanta Kitchen was selected to upgrade another luxury suite at Turner Field just in time for opening day! This time, we got to work in the Superior Plumbing club suite, the newest Turner Field club and opposite bookend to Georgia’s Own Credit Union. Cambria, the beautiful and durable quartz material, was chosen to be added to the new club level suite in tabletops, bar tops and drink rails. The Aragon color profile, a regal and relaxed design with gray and light brown tones was chosen for this new luxury area to match its sister club suite.
About 200 regular seats and two suites were removed to make space for the new Superior Plumbing Club, where there are now 19 four-seat tables and two two-seat tables. Buyers of the club seats have to commit to three or five year contracts, which include the seats, food and drink and reserved valet parking.
Atlanta Kitchen’s Lexus-level partnership with Cambria ensured we had the inventory, as well as the state-of-the-art, Cambria-certified facility to custom fabricate each part of the job to bring the custom work to the “Home of the Braves.” Cambria designs fit in wonderfully with the mix of nostalgia and the atmosphere of old-time baseball with the state-of-the-art family entertainment that is presented at Turner Field.

After last year’s eye-catching Wellborn Cabinet booth displays at the 2012 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS, the industry’s biggest show going), Construction Resources again partnered with the American cabinet giant to build unique and alluring displays for KBIS 2013. Our award-winning fabricators worked hard to bring a variety of products, including Cambria and Artisan Group materials to the event and show off the best in American-made surfaces hand-in-hand with high profile American-built cabinetry!
We used ten of the favorite Cambria designs in the Wellborn booth, from crisp, trendy white countertops to dazzling options from the jewel collection.
