Today I arrived in Minneapolis for the Cambria 2011 Lexus Partner marketing summit, and so far it has been a huge treat. My first stop on the tour was International Market Square where we visited the Cambria Showroom. The showroom is open to the public and truly demonstrates the many possibilities for using Cambria in design. From a fireplace fabricated by bending Cambria to entire slabs used on a shower wall, the this product has some creative uses. Cambria can form tile walls or even be used as slabs for sliding doors. Can a remix ever be better than the original? It doesn’t often happen that way in music, but when it comes to carpeting, frieze carpet has definite advantages over its older cousin, shag.
Shag was the rage in the 1960s and 1970s. No modern home was considered complete without it. The plush carpet feels nice on bare feet, but it takes a lot of care.
