Construction Resources’ crews at Florida Bath and Surfaces are spending their days creating the peaceful and energizing oasis that will become Hotel Indigo Pensacola. The project is in the early phases, so we can’t share all the details yet (some we are still working on); but classic, beautiful cultured marble shower walls and shower pans will be installed in all rooms. Vanity tops have yet to be decided, but you can be assured that they will be from one of Construction Resource’s line of environmentally-friendly countertop products.

Construction Resources has teamed up with providers of products that are stylish, high quality and less damaging to the environment than many products. From reclaimed wood tops to recycled glass and cement to radon free to low VOC countertops, Construction Resources has them all in a range of beautiful and artistic types. View all of the products in Construction Resources’ environmentally friendly collection.

Hotel Indigo Pensacola Beach is the first boutique hotel in the area. This brand new hotel is 100% smoke free and features contemporary amenities that are sure to exceed expectations. Like at every Hotel Indigo location, the focus is to deliver each guest peace, serenity, and renewal with the conveniences of a fitness center, Wi-Fi, pool and more. Guests will be able to curl up in the hotel’s over-sized beds with plush bedding and plenty of fluffy pillows – but not just yet. Construction Resources will likely be working on the project through the remainder of 2009, so start planning your visit for early next year.

The company created kitchen and bathroom countertops for the new home earlier this year for “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”

Florida Bath & Surfaces spent just five hours early one morning installing countertops fabricated from designer renderings. This process usually takes about 10 days!
According to Schoen, President, “It was definitely a little more difficult, but there was total cooperation. We had 50 to 60 people in the house at once and everyone was pitching in. We knew it was a good thing.”

The Cambria quartz kitchen countertops and LivingStone bathroom countertops installed in the home are valued at $12,000. Cambria and LivingStone donated their materials and Florida Bath & Surfaces donated their time.

The company’s entire staff was excited and enthusiastic about the build, and the company was proud to take part in the effort to put a deserving local family in a safe, beautiful new home.

Follow us to find out when we’ve updated our blog or Facebook page or to get inside tips, offers and ideas; and you might just occasionally get some of our thoughts, too (haven’t you always wondered what is on the mind of the Southeast’s top provider of specialty kitchen and bath products?). If you are on Twitter, be sure to join the others who are following us (we’re already up to 100!). Our Twitter username is @KitchenBath.

What we love so much about Twitter for our company is that it is a great way to stay connected with our partners, customers and friends, in a way in which they have a sense of what we are up to, but they are not expected to immediately or directly respond or act (unless of course anyone wants to, which we would very much welcome).

Plus, Twitter is so simple. It is great for busy days when you want to know what’s going on, but don’t have time to sit down and read. With 140 characters to let you know what we’re up to, and with updates sent mobile texting, instant message, or the web, Twitter makes connecting easy.

So follow us: http://twitter.com/kitchenbath.
