Atlanta Kitchens On Tour This Weekend

If you have been thinking about remodeling your kitchen, you will not want to miss the 14th annual Junior League Tour of Kitchens. The tour provides great eye candy and it takes place this weekend, Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20.  Sponsored by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, the self-guided tour showcases beautiful kitchens all around Atlanta.  (Pictured is one of our beautiful kitchens from Atlanta Kitchens.)

Many of Atlanta’s finest culinary talents are also participating in the tour. After all great food is produced in fabulous kitchens! Live cooking  demonstrations take place in each of the home’s kitchens. On Saturday, see the work of Scott Serpas of Serpas, Geoff Melkonian of Breadwinner Cafe & Bakery, Virginia Willis of My Southern Pantry, Jay Swift of 4th & Swift, Bobby Cresap for Big Green Egg, Hugh Acheson of Athens Five & Ten and Empire State South. Samplings from Yoforia and Moore Farms will also be up for grabs. Enjoy Moore Farms produce again on Sunday, as well as delectables from Jason Hill of Wisteria, Barbara O’Neill of The Cookie Studio, Todd Ginsberg of Bocado, Linton Hopkins of Restaurant Eugene, Jerry Slater of H. Harper Station, Steven Hartman of Le Vigne and Joe Truex of Watershed.

The Atlanta Kitchen tour has raised more than $1 million throughout its history to support 90+ local charities serving women and children, while also helping to educate Junior League members for effective community service.
