Suwanee City Hall Makes a Smart Choice with Corian
By
With all the beautiful kitchen countertops and bathroom vanity solid surface tops we talk about, it’s sometimes easy to forget how functional and long-lasting they are. That’s why they are the perfect choice for both homes and for businesses. And that’s why Construction Resources installed them at Suwanee City Hall last year.
All work tops, pass throughs, city council benches, and transaction tops were made of high-quality Corian® with flexible bullnose edges. The color used was Delta Sand, a cool beige with a touch of warm iron oxide and a natural depth created by a range of translucent and tone-on-tone particles.
Listed below are just a few of the many reasons many homeowners and business owners choose Corian® solid surfaces. Corian® is:
- Varied and versatile
- Available in over 130 colors
- Stain resistant
- NSF/ANSI Standard 51 Certified for food contact and Class I(A) fire rated
- Durable and long-lasting
- Heat-resistant
- Easy-to-clean and maintain
- No grout lines to catch dirt and bacteria
- Non-porous surface does not promote the growth of mold and mildew when properly cleaned
GREENGUARD Certified® as a low-emitting material
Suwanee’s new City Hall is about 24,000 square feet and features an art deco-style design created by BRPH of Marietta, with a distinctive glass front, 103-foot clock tower, grand foyer with double set of stairs, and second-story Council Chamber overlooking Town Center Park.
