This weekend is the Decatur Old House Fair, another great home improvement event in our backyard. The Decatur Old House Fair, as the name implies, focuses on how to renovate and renew older homes while maintaining the grand elegance of older styles. We will be there to share how to integrate granite countertops and other new counter surfaces into older kitchens. The Old House Fair is one day only, on February 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Decaur/Emory and Conference Center.

If you have an older home, you know that maintenance and remodeling can be difficult to keep the classy style. The show will have great opportunities to learn about how to overcome that problem with seminars on topics like how to restore original windows, improve your older home’s energy efficiency, earn tax incentives for certified rehabilitation and more.
